During that time, a health history will be completed, a spinal physical will be performed, and radiographs may be taken (if necessary). There will be a report of findings to let you know what was found, and a specific adjustment tailored to your needs as a new patient. Following visits take as long as needed, but a typical appointment lasts 5-15 minutes.

Here at Water's Edge Chiropractic, PLC, we want to make sure that your first visit is as relaxing and informative as possible. We want to ensure that when you leave, you do not have any questions. It is our goal to get you to feel excited about the progress that you have already made.

Many people visit the chiropractor for the first time because they are experiencing pain in different areas of their body. Some people also visit us because they want to begin a preventive treatment plan to ensure that they stay healthy.

We understand the body and how it works. During your first visit, we will spend time talking so you can explain any pain you’re experiencing. We may assess the affected areas to get a better understanding of what’s going on and evaluate your alignment and movement.

We truly believe that pain is often the result of something in our body being out of alignment. We will work hard to ensure that your body gets back into alignment so that you are pain free again!
